Congressman Glenn Ivey (D-MD) was joined by Democrats Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) and Madeleine Dean (D-PA), Sarah Jacobs (D-CA), Suhas Subramaniam (D-VA) and James Walkinshaw (D-VA), and Emily Randall (D-WA) from Washington state at the East Front Steps of the US Capitol after a short pro forma session during which Ivey was not recognized to seek unanimous consent for adoption of a War Powers Act resolution regarding Iran. This, after President Trump warned he might destroy its civilization and a day after an agreed-to ceasefire was broken.
